Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 September 2026

This policy explains how Navidrome YouTube Music Sync accesses, uses, stores, and protects Google user data.

Application purpose

Navidrome YouTube Music Sync is a private, self-hosted application used by its owner to reproduce selected Navidrome playlists in the owner's YouTube Music account.

Google data accessed

The application may access the owner's YouTube or YouTube Music account only to search for recordings and to view, create, and update playlists as authorized by the owner. It does not download audio or video content.

How data is used

Google user data is used solely to match tracks and create or update playlists requested by the owner. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and protection

OAuth authorization credentials and operational playlist information are stored locally on the owner's self-hosted system. They are not stored on this website. Reasonable access controls are used to restrict access to the owner.

Sharing and sale

Google user data is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.

Retention and deletion

Local authorization credentials and operational data are retained only while the owner uses the application. The owner can delete them from the self-hosted system and revoke the application's Google Account access at any time through the Google Account security settings.

Limited Use

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

This policy may be updated if the application's data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
